An Experiential Understanding of Food & Food Science in Yoga & Āyurveda

KYM in collaboration with I-AIM is delighted to bring to you an immersive residential retreat that offers participants an opportunity to understand and explore the invaluable significance of Āhāra in holistic wellness.
Designed as a synthesis of Yoga practices and Āyurvedic interventions, this retreat centers on a practical understanding of food, dietary choices, food groups and their influence on the Tridoṣa-s and food and its connection to mind, personality and well-being. There will be daily lectures on Yoga philosophy and Āyurveda centering Āhāra, and this will be supported by practical orientation to healthy methods of food preparation in I-AIM’s state of the art food science laboratory.
Included as part of this immersive wellness experience are practices of Āsana, Prāṇāyāma, chanting and Dhyāna along with Abhyaṅga (massage) and Pādābhyaṅga (foot massage). All participants will receive a consultation with senior Vaidyā-s and may also schedule additional Āyurvedic therapies as prescribed.
